- Authors
Meyer, C.; Dale, J.; Clark, C.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the behavior of a certain school of bullethead parrotfishes at French Frigate Shoals atoll in Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. It says that the school was noticed at a surface depth of 40 meters and has a diameter of three to four meters and is composed of 800 15-25 centimeter (cm) parrotfishes. It adds that the only predators seen in the area are great frigate birds. Moreover, the authors conclude that predation in an abundant predator is minimal.
