- Abstract
The energies of mixing of quaternary compounds of the Al x In y Ga1 − x − y N system with crystal structures of the zinc-blende type have been calculated using direct numerical simulations within the framework of the valence forced field model. An analytical approximation of the results of numerical calculations is proposed and the parameters of configurational dispersion of the mixing energy are refined, which are necessary for determining the thermodynamic functions of the quaternary compounds under consideration.
