The structure and thermo emf of nanotubular and fractal carbon layers deposited from an electric discharge plasma were studied. The thermo emf of such nanotubular and fractal deposits is almost tenfold higher as compared to that of polycrystalline carbon, which is explained by the nanostructural state of carbon in the deposits studied.
