- Title
Correspondence: Discussion of 'The cross validation and robustness of daylight glare metrics'.
- Authors
Fotios, S; Wienold, J
- Abstract
B Fotios: b In some situations, such as facing a window which is lit by direct sunlight, glare can be a cause of significant visual discomfort. Thanks to this procedure, the respective number of data points in each dataset plays only a minor role on the analysis outcomes, and a similar importance is effectively carried by each dataset. For instance, the six first ranked metrics are the same when all data points from the DE-Gaze and DE-Quanta datasets (36% of the 814 testing-data points) are removed together with the combined dataset.
