- Title
Arresting the Decline of Public Confidence in the Court.
- Abstract
The author argues that the U.S. Supreme Court's (USSC's) standing with the American public has been declining for several years leading up to 2014, focusing on various recommendations for improving the legitimacy of the USSC and the entire federal judiciary in America. According to the article, people need to understand that court decisions are more than just judicial opinions which are driven by ideological or political beliefs. A call for the USSC to televise its proceedings is also examined.
