- Authors

- Abstract
The article presents facts about avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) in children. Among the clinical features of ARFID are weight loss, nutritional deficiency, and dependence on enteral feeding or oral nutritional supplements. Survey results presented reveal the unfamiliarity of pediatricians and subspecialists with the diagnostic criteria for ARFID. The potential correlation between psychological disorders and ARFID is suggested.
