- Abstract
The article discusses how incidents of corruption are being controlled, through international efforts, in nations such as Iraq and Afghanistan. According to reports, populations in Afghanistan are more troubled by rampant corruption practice than by terrorism. The World Bank prefers to collaborate directly with civic bodies and businesses if a national government has corrupt practices. As observed, successful drives to curb corruption mostly occurred in nations that are economically and politically developed.
