- Abstract
The article presents case study of low birthweight infant, who was born with multiple congenital anomalies, including facial dysmorphism, overlapping fingers, rocker-bottom feet, and cerebellar hypoplasia. It mentions evidence of tracheobronchomalacia in the trachea and bilateral main bronchi; and also mentions use of neurally adjusted ventilator assist (NAVA) mode, with the spontaneous respiratory efforts of the patient without the need for sedation er time.
