- Title
Oral Cancer Screening Camp An Indian Dental Association CSR Initiatives.
- Abstract
The article discusses an Oral Cancer Screening Camp organized by the Indian Dental Association (IDA) as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The camp aimed to screen farmers and laborers from the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) in five specified locations across India. The IDA faced different challenges in each location, including language barriers and reluctance from daily wage workers to attend the screening site. Despite these obstacles, the IDA was able to achieve their set targets and received positive responses from the people in some locations. The article highlights the importance of prioritizing oral health and the need for awareness and education in diverse cultural contexts.
