- Abstract
The article examines the political career of British politician Sir Oswald Mosley, with particular focus given to his resignation from the British Labour Government and his formation of the British Union of Fascists. His focus on legislation addressing unemployment, the rejection of the "Mosely Memorandum" concerning unemployment in Great Britain, and his dissatisfaction with the Labour Government and Labour Party leadership are discussed. Problems connected with the timing of Mosely's political actions, his expulsion from the Labour Party, and his formation of the New Party are also explored.
