- Abstract
The article discusses two wall paintings found in Sucuoğlu Mansion, a Turkish house located in Ürgüp, Turkey. It notes that the house was built in 1904 and its architectural features are presented. A painting of the city of İstanbul, Turkey is described, with particular focus given to the depiction of the Galata and Sarayburnu regions as well as the Yeni Valide Mosque and the Hagia Sophia basilica. A painting of the city of Edirne, Turkey is also examined, with particular focus given to the presentation of Edirne castle, Eski Mosque, and Üç Şerefeli Mosque.
