- Abstract
The Center of Radiation Protection and Hygiene as the head institution of the National Radiological Environmental Surveillance Network has strengthened its detection and response capacity for a radiological emergency situation. The measurements of gamma dose rate at the main point of the network are obtained in real time and the data coming from those points are received in a short time. To achieve the operability of the RNVRA it was necessary to complete the existent monitoring facilities using 4 automatic gamma probes, implementing in this way a real time measurement system. The softwares, GenitronProbe for obtaining the data automatically from the probe, DataMail, for sending the data via e-mail, and GammaRed, for receiving and processing the data in the head institution ,were developed.
