- Authors
EVANS, ADRIAN; KING, MICHAEL
- Abstract
The article reflects on the moral advantages of virtue ethics in daily decision making of practising lawyers for whom therapeutic jurisprudence (TJ) may become a central motivation to practice law. It mentions that TJ can be used to inform the development of law and legal processes. It asserts that TJ provides a conceptual framework for studying the therapeutic and anti-therapeutic effects of the law and the utility of therapeutic techniques in the justice system.
