- Abstract
The article discusses a case of a six-year-old girl with severe scalp pain and pruritus in the occipital area of her scalp. It says that the she has pruritic papules bounded by erythematous base in the occipital and retro-auricular regions of her scalp. Differential diagnosis reveals that she has seborrheic dermatitis, tinea capitis, folliculitis, and pediculosis capitis. It suggests that her mother should be careful to follow every pharmaceutical instruction when applying head lice product.
