- Abstract
The article reports on the justification of Chinese ethnic policy after the ethnic clash in Xinjiang, China. It is inferred that Beijing's policies are right but the mistakes are made in the local level. Professor Yang Jianxin states that the aim of the government is multiethnic unification and prosperity and can be achieved by putting equality first. Commissioner Shi Yugang states that the events are pointed towards the national policy that encourages equal chance of exchanges among cultures.
