- Abstract
The article discusses the legal doctrine known as void-for-vagueness as related to searches and seizures as described in the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. It examines the rulings in the U.S. Supreme Court cases Johnson v. United States and Heien v. North Carolina and how they represent the design for successful motions to suppress searches and seizures based on vagueness.
