- Abstract
The article focuses on the case of an old woman with a lump on vulva which bled occasionally. The biopsies showed that the tumour was a basal cell carcinoma. The patient had recovered after her simple vulvectomy and had neither recurrence of the basal cell carcinoma nor residual evidence of lichen sclerosus et atrophicus on the vulva. It notes that basal cell carcinoma is an unusual tumour of the vulva.
