- Abstract
The article examines the juror research issue affecting state and federal courts in the U.S. Also cited are the strategies use the courts to prevent juror misconduct, including juror question, monitoring, punishment, and cell phone bans, as well as the need for the courts to establish a system to resolve juror bias, and the need to study the effects of allowing jurors to conduct research outside the courtroom.
