- Abstract
In this article, the author focuses on woman's language as used by a character in the book "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen. She states that women use tentative language and they talk too much but say less meaningful things. She further states that woman's language is shown through exaggeration and woman's language is characterized by use of exclamation points.
