Using patient reported outcome measures to improve patient care.
- Authors
Whiteing, Nicola
- Abstract
Patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) are an effective mechanism for gauging the patient experience as well as whether patients perceive their health outcomes have been achieved. Gastrointestinal nurses need to understand and determine the type of PROM to be used with their patient population in order to help improve the patient experience, argue Nicola Whiteing and Carol Cox. INSET: Case Study.
