- Abstract
The article reports that the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) released a revised list of treatments and tests to question and discuss when working with older adults. Topics mentioned include new proof on lung cancer screenings, the importance of avoiding medications other than metformin when pursuing moderate blood-glucose control in older patients with diabetes, and AGS's advice not to use physical restraints to deal with behavioral symptoms in hospitalized older adults with delirium.
