- Title
El SROI, un método para medir las inversiones sociales.
- Authors
Roux, Hugo Narrillos
- Abstract
Over the past years, there has been an increasing interest to measure the global impact created by a company (especially those impacts not included in the traditional profit and loss accounts), and for those measures to concentrate in actual changes to society not only in the company results. SROI (Social Return On Investment) is a process of understanding, measuring and communicating the social, environmental and economic values generated by an organization. It is based on Cost-Benefit analysis, but goes beyond it as is used not only by external agents but by the project managers as well as investors.
