- Authors
Agitha, T. G.
- Abstract
The article explores the post crisis surrounding the Doha Declaration on the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) Agreement and public health in the pharmaceutical industry. TRIPS agreement states that public health should prevail over commercial interests. It is suggested that despite the agreement, developed countries continue to promote trade interests against public health interests and neglect their obligations to the developing countries through trade sanctions.
