- Title
Copyright infringement: How far should an ISP go.
- Abstract
The article discusses the case, Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. & Others v. British Telecommunications Plc (BT), which resulted in BT canceling access to the Newzbin Web site for all BT customers. It analyzes whether or not BT, as an ISP, should be responsible for taking action to stop infringement of copyright in films belonging to certain film production studios. It notes that after taking down the original Newzbin Web site, a new site was set up using allegedly stolen source code.
