Abstract
The article discusses the study "The Cult of Celebrity and Trademarks: The Next Installment," by Gillian Davies, which appeared in the online resource www.law.ed.ac.uk/ahrb/script-ed/. The study examined the implications of the guidance on registration of famous names in Great Britain. The author studied the guidance in light of the existing legislative framework for registration of a personal name and judicial developments.
