- Title
Physician kindness as sincere benevolence.
- Authors
Buetow, Stephen A.
- Abstract
The author discusses the kindness shown by physicians for their patients citing reference to the risk of negative reactions of the patients to the touch of physicians. According to him, physicians' kindness toward patients must be genuine. He mentions that equal interests of physicians and patients deserve equal consideration. He suggests that physicians can minimize the risk of negative reactions of their patients by finding a midpoint between too much kindness and too little kindness.
