- Abstract
The article discusses data collection by high school science students taking part in the astronomy-based Laboratory for the Study of Exoplanets (ExoLab) and explains why the author feels that the fact that some of the data is unclear is a good thing. Topics discussed include the measurement of star brightness, the ethical issues related to data analyzing, and the ways in which this data collection connects with the Next-Generation Science Standards.
