- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the merits and demerits of different methodological approaches responsible for the development of uniform rules for international trade. He discusses the two most important uniform law instruments of the international contract law including United Nations (UN) Convention on Contracts for the International Sales of Goods (CISG) and International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) Principles for International Commercial Contracts (PICC).
