The article focuses on the U.S. Supreme court case J. McIntyre Machinery, Ltd. v. Nicastro which dealt with jurisdictional jurisprudence in a globalized economy. Information is provided on how the court determined that the Due Process Clause in the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution allowed the exercise of specific personal jurisdiction over a foreign manufacturers supplying products sold in the U.S.
