- Abstract
The article focuses on the employment discrimination and police misconduct in the U.S. under the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It mentions two U.S. Supreme Court Case Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. v. Dukes related to gender discrimination in employment, and the Monell v. New York City Department of Social Services on holding of local government. It also mentions that for police brutality the U.S. Congress passed section 14141 of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act in 1994.
