- Authors
Novembre, John
- Abstract
The article reports on two separate studies published elsewhere in the journal by researchers W. Haak and M. E. Allentoft and their colleagues concerning ancient DNA evidence and its implications for studying the origins of the Indo-European language family. Details on hypotheses which place the origins of this language family in Anatolia and the Pontic-Caspian steppe are presented. The Yamnaya culture and Indo-Iranian languages are also discussed.
