- Abstract
University of Gdansk third year undergraduates take a course called 'Elementary Number Theory'. During the course we try to introduce some important problems such as The Circle Problem, Dirichlet's Divisor Problem, Prime Number Theorem (PNT) or Fermat's Last Theorem. Working with graphing calculators students can experiment with these theorems. Obviously during the course we do not prove Fermat's Last Theorem, but we use the visualizing power of calculators such as TI92 Plus to help our students understand advanced mathematics better.
