- Abstract
When the five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor runs at low speed, the inverter outputs discontinuous current and produce torque ripple. When the motor runs at high speed, a large amount of stator harmonic current is generated, which affects the speed following ability and torque stability. In order to ensure the fast and smooth switching of the five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor in the full speed domain, a sliding mode control strategy for five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor with improved exponential reaching law was proposed. Firstly, in order to solve the chattering problem in sliding mode control, an improved exponential reaching law was proposed and applied to a nonlinear system. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method. In steady state, the system speed fluctuation is small, the static error is low, the system response is quick, the response time is short, and the robustness of the system is improved.
