The article offers information on the commitment, resilience, and critical stance of education workers in the face of the defunding of education, particularly at the university level. Topics include a reflective article on the hegemony of English in Argentina's educational policies; a research article on the development of oral skills and social competences through role-playing in English language education; and various classroom accounts illustrating critical educational practices.
