- Abstract
The author discusses issues concerning the well-being of children and youth. He explains the positive and troubling trends in the findings of a 2016 study conducted by the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics. These include the reduction of smoking and alcohol use, the improvement in math and reading scores, the increase in obesity rate, illicit drug and depression.
