- Abstract
The article studies some compositional conventions of Hellenistic Wisdom texts seen in several passages in the Q document, particularly in 4:1-13; 6:20b-49 and 7:1-10. The tendency of the Q scholarship to explain the juxtaposition of the temptation and the sermon is mentioned. The distinction of the centurion pericopes from the sermon and the temptation is noted. The presentation of the three pericopes as a product of editorial operation is also included.
