- Abstract
The article focuses on the peace movement in Israel in 1984. It looks at the origin, social impact and prospects of the movement which desire to promote peace between the country and its Arab neighbors. It discusses that the Peace Now movement had been fairly successful in monitoring government behavior and mitigating harsher elements of military rule. It projects that Peace Now will be deemed successful when the government engages in peaceful resolution of the Palestinian problem.
