- Abstract
The article presents the case study of new born infants infected with human herpesvirus (HHV)6, which is a DNA virus, that causes roseola. A pilot cross-sectional study performed to obtain an estimate of HHV-6 DNA prevalence in the neonatal intensive care unit is presented. The test results of the plot study is reported that indicates the possibility of congenital acquirement of the HHV-6 DNA.
