- Abstract
The philosophy of education examines the theory, the logic and the significance of the educational activity. Being a didactic discipline it is available in teaching of students of pedagogical specialties. This study aims at examining the future teachers` preferences to philosophies of education. It is related both with their professional preparation and their teaching philosophy prognostication as acting teachers. The study was performed within the period 2017-2019 with 150 students of Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy specialty, for Teaching and Master`s Educational and Qualification Degree, who were taught during the above indicated period at Prof. Dr Asen Zlatarov Unversity in Burgas. The main methods of study were: a diagnostic talk, a discussion, an essay on the theme of Preferred Educational Philosophy. The results obtained from the study showed a significantly greater interest, demonstrated by the future teachers, in constructivism and humanism as philosophies of education, in comparison with the rest educational philosophies.
