- Abstract
Modernization of electrical distribution networks and their transformation into digital distribution networks allows the installation of intelligent controlled devices and combining them into a single system. In this paper, we consider the effectiveness of using modern high-speed semiconductor control devices: reactive power compensation means and semiconductor voltage-control devices for transformers under load. Using the example of a specific object of a regional distribution electric network, the technical and economic efficiency of the application of reactive power compensation means are analyzed. The possibility of obtaining a technical effect and economic return is shown. The potential of using innovative high-speed semiconductor devices for voltage regulation of transformers under load was demonstrated. The efficiency of using such devices as means of ensuring regulatory requirements for a slow voltage change in electrical networks is shown.
