- Abstract
Entrepreneurship is not only the driving force for the development of society and economic, but also an urgent demand for the implementation of national innovation-driven development. Effective team conflict management could improve team performance. From the perspective of team conflict, through the integration of cognitive theory and organization theory, this article constructs a relationship model which between the entrepreneurial performance and team conflict, team cohesion, team heterogeneity. Though a study of questionnaire survey for those entrepreneurial teams, which are from the highly active entrepreneurship area in China (e.g. Beijing, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong), we used structure equation to do the empirical analysis and verify the sample data. The research results show that effective team conflict management can improve entrepreneurial performance, and team cohesion and team heterogeneity have partial mediating effect between team conflict and entrepreneurial performance. Many studies on the relationship between team conflict and entrepreneurial performance stay in the stage of theoretical research, this article takes the entrepreneur teams which are from highly active entrepreneurship area as samples for empirical research, to explore and prove the mechanism of team conflict on entrepreneurial performance. The results of this study have the positive effect to explore effective approach for team conflict management to enhance the entrepreneurial performance, to make reasonable solution, ensure the success of entrepreneurial teams, and boost the development of innovative and entrepreneurial economy in China.
