- Abstract
The article describes an unusual case of iatrogenic hepatic portal venous gas (HPVG) following balloon endoscopy (BE) in a 71-year-old female patient with hepaticojejunostomy stricture. Topics include some of the common cause of HPVG such as gastrointestinal (GI) mucosal damage and mesenteric ischemia, the patient's medical history, and details of the procedures performed to treat HPVG.
