The article investigates the validity of 12 frailty-related items in Japan's annual health assessment for older adults. Confirmatory factor analysis supports these items' alignment with a five-domain frailty model, indicating their construct validity. Topics include validating these items through a cohort study, their prevalence in health checkup data, and disparities in participant characteristics between studies.
