- Abstract
This article presents the internship experiences of several students from the Sports Sponsorship & Sales program of Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. These students have learned the significance of hard work as well as the experience in marketing interships. Scott Frase, a senior, knows the significance of securing an internship. He spent the summer in Irving, Texas, working for General Motors R Works. This agency is responsible for the sponsorships, promotions and events for the General Motors organization. Although he did not have top executive status, he was able to obtain experience dealing with clients on a daily basis. Meanwhile, Ashley Stewart, also a senior, secured an internship at State Farm Insurance. She was given the opportunity to work with another student from Baylor University. Their main project for the summer was to evaluate the current and proposed sports sponsorships for the Texas region for State Farm.
