- Abstract
The article reports that a Boeing 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter, known as the Dreamlifter, picked up Boeing 787 Dreamliner parts from Japan. The load consisted of section 43, a forward fuselage section made by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI), and section 11/45, the center wheel well and center wing tank, made by KHI and Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) and joined at FHI. The large composite parts are destined for the Boeing factory in Charleston, South Carolina.
