The article analyzes verbs of a single structure whose roots end in n and which comprise a rather uniform group in the current language. Clarification is sought on how these roots evolved and what the origin of consonantal root final n is - has it belonged to the root from ancient times, or is it an expanded element? If n later melded with the root, elucidation of its origin and old function is sought.
