The article offers information on the attempt of Switzerland to strengthen victim's rights. It discusses the role of victims which needs to be taken into account when talking about double jeopardy prohibition and the question of whether or not there is influence of cross-border on the principle. It explores which premises the passive personality principle can be cited and which influence ne bis in idem principle has in cross-border crimes.
