The article discusses the temple of Jupiter Stator, one of the most venerable monuments in Rome depicted in the drama "La Clemenza Di Tito," by Pietro Metastasio. Topics discussed include the Temple of Divus Romulus built in honor of the son of emperor Mazentius Valerio Romulus, the stage direction of Metastasio in the drama, and the temple of Jupiter Stator describe in the stage set by painter Fabrizio Galliari.
