- Title
The Active Fixation Coronary Sinus Lead: More Peril than Promise?
- Authors
KALAHASTY, GAUTHAM; ELLENBOGEN, KENNETH A.
- Abstract
The authors reflect on the use of the StarFix active fixation coronary sinus lead in cardiac surgery. They suggest that the use of the leads remains a subject of debate among electrophysiologists and implanting physicians. They argue that when experienced medical professionals say that they are disturbed by the unselective use of the lead, all lead implanters should be cautious about its use.
