- Abstract
EIDELMAN, R.S.,et al.: Malfunction of a Biventricular Pacing Device? A patient with dilated cardiomyopathy and recurrent admissions for heart failure presented 3 days after implantation of a biventricular pacemaker to the emergency department. Due to significant bradycardia, he was initially diagnosed with pacemaker malfunction. Subsequent interrogation of the device revealed a normally functioning biventricular pacemaker. After treating his underlying medical problems, the electrocardiogram returned to baseline.(PACE 2004; 27:1453–1454)
